Definition of Terms
- A chaburah is a group of women learning one topic. Examples of chabura topics are: Nefesh Hachaim, Alei Shur, Chovos Halevavos, etc.
- Each chabura contains a number of weekly, 1 hour classes.
- Chaburas are divided into 12-class sessions.
- The complete number of sessions from start to finish for one chabura is called a cycle.
- The entire archive of recordings from one chaburah that has already finished is called a series.
- A recording means the recording of a 1 hour class.
- A live class is a dial-in, live, interactive phone call, accessed with a secret code.
How to Bronze and Silver Packages Work?
- The $30 per month bronze and $40 per month silver packages only give you access to one chaburah. If you want to join two chaburos at the same time, you need to pay for each one separately. For example, recordings only for
both Nefesh HaChaim and Alei Shur simultaneously would cost $60 per month, while live calls for both of those chaburas simultaneously would cost $80 per month.
- You can have a bronze membership for one chaburah and a silver membership for a different chaburah. That would be a total of 70$ per month. For example, recordings (bronze) of Nefesh HaChaim and live calls (silver) of Alei Shur
simultaneously would cost $70 per month
How do I Join?
- The registration and payment is through thebinahtree.com/join. Mrs. Singer is available to help people through the step by step registration process.
- If there’s a topic you’d like to learn that we haven’t offered yet, we are always willing to start a new chaburah once five women have committed to learning it.
- We offer incentives and discounts for anyone who refers other people who successfully join a chaburah.
- You can purchase all or a portion of the recordings from an entire archived chaburah in bulk. Contact us directly for bulk pricing.
- If you would like to sponsor a class or a series in the merit of your choice, please contact us. These classes are given freely and are open to the public.
